These workshops begin on Monday, January 3rd and continue through March 21st, with no meeting on January 17th or February 21st. Under the guidance and supervision of Resident Forward’s environmental educator, you will learn to teach elementary-aged students through gardening how land use, food choices, agriculture and biodiversity impact our local and global environment. Upon completion of the workshop series, you will receive a certificate of completion and be invited to mentor students in the Climate Awareness Garden during the Spring Session from April 4th through June 20th. The cost of the workshops is $65, and participation in the Spring session is free. To inquire about scholarships, write to kim@pwresidents.org. Note that the workshops will take place in the Schreiber High School Faculty cafeteria, and all school district COVID safety protocols will be followed.
