We’ll brainstorm the transportation and energy resources needed to produce food. Your child will pick a food and identify all the resources needed to produce it throughout the food supply chain. Participants will present these to the group and as a group we’ll brainstorm changes we can make in our food choices to have less environmental impact. Then participants will have a chance to make seed paper, try seasonal produce and make posters of what we’ve discussed. The focus of this workshop is on the eat local theme of the garden.
