Port Washington’s precious drinking water comes from aquifers beneath our feet. Emerging data and science tell us we need to preserve and protect this resource. Residents Forward will lead a panel discussion to explain local laws, why they are needed, actions required and tools/resources to help.
Panelists will include The Port Washington Water District, Town of North Hempstead Sustainability Department, local environmentalist Francine Furtado and Weber Middle School student Sam Adler.
Learn about smart irrigation, water harvesting and no-mow lawns.
