Art Walk – Residents Forward

On Saturday, September 6th, Residents Forward will debut Port Washington’s first-ever Art Walk, a free all-ages community event that will transform Upper Main Street (from Port Washington Blvd to Irma Ave) into a vibrant, walkable hub of arts, music and commerce.

The Art Walk event will feature art-driven experiences— murals, live music, sidewalk performances, interactive art activities, an Artist Trunk Show curated by the Art Guild, an antique car show hosted by the PW Masons at the LIRR Station, and merchant artistry.

The Art Walk is part of the larger Let’s Walk PW campaign, an initiative by Residents Forward to promote walkability, sustainability, and vibrancy in Port Washington. Modeled in the spirit of beloved community events like Port Promenade, Port Holiday Magic and Party in the Park, the Art Walk aims to become a cornerstone celebration of local artistry in all forms – from the streets to the stores.
